Steps to use the calculator: - Step 1-Click on "Click to Edit" in the upper right hand corner of the calculator.
- Step 2-Input your current age.
- Step 3-Input your age at retirement.
- Step 4-Input your life expectancy age.
- Step 5-Input your current savings for retirement.
- Step 6-Input your expected rate of return on your retirement savings from now until retirement age.
- Step 7-Input the expected inflation rate. (Historically the U.S. has averaged around 3%.)
- Step 8-Input your expected rate of return after retirement age.
- Step 9-Input your current yearly income.
- Step 10-Input the percentage of your current income you would like to have to spend after retirement.
